Roy – Movie Review

1.5 out of 5 stars (1.5 / 5)

A movie not meant for general mass, its a conceptual piece of art with exotic landscapes of beautiful Malayasia. It will be a slow torture for 90% of audience in your theater.

People will not have a clue about what is going on until and unless they have a prior idea that Jacklyn Fernadez play a double role in movie. Arjun Rampal is in main lead as a film maker and Ranbir Kapoor a virtual thief who actually didn’t exist. This is the irony that it takes a lot of time to understand Ranbir’s existence even after watching the full movie. Movie shows the sophisticasy and richness of characters along with unwanted song sequences which actually do not cope up with kind of story line it follows.

Anupam kher is not used properly and it is again a loss for the movie. No doubt Arjun Rampal and Jacklyn both are brilliant in movie and totally paid justice to the characters they played. Ranbir also shown his matured side of acting.

Movie lacks pace and spice as required for a regular bollywood movie. Hence, it would be disaster at box office. Stretched and slient sequences really annoyed the audience at movie hall and leads to people leaving the show in the middle. For some people it become a pain to sit and watch the movie till the end and started abusing the characters and director because they do not get even the slightest idea about the story of Roy.

Overall a disaster from director Vikramjit Singh

Shamitabh – Movie Review

3 out of 5 stars (3 / 5)

“Man of the Millennium” Amitabh Bachchan, It is all about him if we talk about the movie Shamitabh. No doubt Dhanush is a fantastic actor but when Mr. Bachchan is on screen all others are like, stars in presence of the Sun. No words to define the performance of Mr. Bachchan as it is like some energetic waves are passing, while listening to his dialogues. Movie is all based on the voice of Amitabh Bachan, Dhanush a village boy with average looks wants to be a Superstar but the irony is that he is dumb by birth.

Amitabh-Bachchan

Story is little unrealistic somewhere like so easily an Assistant Director (Akshara Haasan) in Mumbai helped a stranger boy to became an actor. The technology used to generate voice for Dhanush by implanting microchip inside him. “Where the power comes from for that chip lolz :p” Anyway story is story…

Director R. Balki did something different and sounds good. It’s a must watch for seeing Sir Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush on screen with a new concept and almost different from regular Bollywood movies. akshara-haasan Akshara Haasan lacks expressions and dialogue delivery is not good in most of the parts of the movie. First half will entertain you the most and after the interval it seems the movie is bit stretched and seems boring in between some times.

It’s a must watch for seeing Mr. Bachchan on screen and Singing a song Pidley…

Rang Rasiya – Movie Review

3 out of 5 stars (3 / 5)

Rang Rasiya, The journey of an artist is actually a mock on society. Raja Ravi Varma, a famous Indian painter, very well played by Randeep Hooda, fights for his sustenance in society. His imagination doesn’t know any bound, however the so – called workers of society wants to chain his thoughts. He paints the mirror of our true rich tradition, which later is scorn by social workers.

Nandana Sen looks stunningly beautiful in her role of inspirational muse for the painter. The pace of the story is little slow and the environment feels gloomy. However the essence of tradition attracts the audience. Brilliant acting by Randeep Hooda and great cinematography.

The movie carries a social message and aspire to bring in a change in mindset of people. It want people to let others do whatever they want to. We are no one to stop the thinking or lifestyle of any person. There is a very small chunk of people who would like the movie. I believe we need to have that literary sense to like it.

Though I liked it , it’s a kind of an old folk tale which might have a lot of literary connotations.

Baby – Movie Review

4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5)

Some times Akshay Kumar realise the type of role he should better do . An excellent movie from Director/Writer Neeraj Pandey at par with his previous brilliant work “Special 26”.

Baby-1This is a movie based on Indian Intelligence tracking terrorist internationally and busting them by surgical operations. Akshay Kumar as usual did a fantastic job in the kind of role that suits him with that elegant attitude of an officer. Adding Anupam Kher in the cast recreate the plethora of movie Special 26.

Movie will hold you from the beginning to end increasing your heartbeats with such a thrill that you will find even the interval more longer. Casting of the movie is so brilliant that you can’t even imagine they are actors and not really exist. The person who played the role of Mohammad (master mind of terrorists) is “Mr. Rasheed Naz”, brilliant acting with such a terrific personality who can make you fear without any violence.

taapsee-pannu

Applause for Taapsee Pannu for a fantastic short role as an ATS officer. Quite good action sequence made her role beautiful in the movie. Can’t forget the role of an Intense ATS cheif, Mr. Danny Denzongpa and the Muscle Man (The Hulk) Mr. Rana Daggubati. While watching the movie sometimes you will feel like how safe we are in our country India and some what you can get relaxed that yes there exists the real heroes in our country because of whom you can sleep peacefully at your home.

“Overall it is a must watch for all Indians”

Tevar – Movie Review

3 out of 5 stars (3 / 5)

A movie by father for his dearest son… Exactly a tailor made, complete pack of Bollywood masala to satiate the taste buds of Indian audience, targeting multiplexes to single screens. Boney Kapoor has really worked hard for his son and presented a brilliant movie with direction and beautiful screenplay of Mr. Amit Ravindernath Sharma. You can see the beauty of Agra and Mathura in all the senses with colourful locations and typical uniqueness of the region.

Talking about story there is nothing new, its same old story of bollywood in a little bit new package and faces. But would like to emphasise, the movie is not bad at all. Brilliant performance by Mr. Manoj Bajpai… Outstanding expressions and awesome dialogues.

Regarding Arjun Kapoor, he did well other than if you can accept larger than life action sequences exactly like what he is claiming in the movie that he is a “Superman”. An angry young man’s role who is fighting for a girl and at last fallen in love with the girl for ultimate climax fight.

tevar-salman
Some songs are really touching in the second half, but some are really annoying in the first half. You can see Sonakshi Sinha in a sensible role out of her past few track record. She has lost quite some pounds of body fat and thus, looking ripped and beautiful in the role of a very next door girl.

Overall it is a paisa vasool one time watch if you are fond of bollywood masala movies with larger than life action stunts…

PK – Movie Review

4.5 out of 5 stars (4.5 / 5)

Undoubtedly its worth waiting for ‘The Perfectionist’ till the end of year. PK rolled the mind with comedy, drama and emotions. An unexpected story with outstanding performance and direction leads to PK.

In between some parts of the movie felt like stretched but ignorable. You gonna enjoy every bit of scenes and dialogues of adorable PK. Anuskha Sharma even after her disaster lips surgery managed to heights with her acting skills. Girls gonna admire the appearance of Sushant Singh Rajput in his short role as a lover to Anushka.

Movie revolve around the story of a person given the name as PK by public who is a very innocent and unmanageable coming from some unknown place (Suspense – Watch out the movie for that ) Sanjay dutt and Anushka as his path enlighters.

pk-sanjay

A bunch of amazingly talented people are there in movie like Booman Irani and Saurabh Shukla. Movie will also debate over the all time biggest evil of our country Dharam and Religion. A pinch of mix from flavours of Oh My God , starring Paresh Rawal.

Over all watch the movie and I can promise it would be the best watch of your 2014.

Ungli – Movie Review

2.5 out of 5 stars (2.5 / 5)

After so long a little sensible movie from Mr. Imran Hashmi other than the Jannat Series. Its an action thriller type where a gang of youth frustrated by our system and decided to fight back in a different manner.

With a tag line “Agar tedhi ungli se ghee na nikle toh saari ungli use karna chahiye”. As always brilliant performance by Randeep Hooda, he fits into every character he plays in such a way that feels kinda tailor made role for him. Equally all other cast of gang dud justice to there roles.

ungli-shraddha-kapoor

You will find Sanjay Dutt too in the movie as a honest cop and added little senior spice in movie. Can’t forget well fitted short song “Nach Basanti” filmed on the beautiful Shraddha Kapoor along with Imran Hashmi…

“Overall its a nice one time thriller watch…”

Happy Ending – Movie Review

1 out of 5 stars (1 / 5)

Happy Ending is not that much a Happy moment or Happy ending for the audience. The same old Saif Ali Khan Casanova role in slow paced, boring story plot.

I tried building my interest so many times in the movie but couldn’t hold to that. Saif should understand we are no more interested to see him in the same kind of formula.. please come up with some thing big your potential is high.

saif-happyending

Well movie rolls around the plot that a US based Indian guy need Romance but no Commitment. Finally he meet a like minded girl and fall in love and then Happy Ending. Movie begins with Kareena Kapoor as a guest appearance.. Throughout the movie you can see Preity Zinta as Saif’s ex-girlfriend (may be from Salaam Namaste lolzz :p).

I would say, it’s only govinda who was little entertainment factor with his short appearances through out the movie. A Hilarious moment is when he takes out his shirt for a plastic surgery for Six pack abs.

happy-ending-movie-govinda
Ileana d’cruz was looking quite good and played a fantastic role as an eye-opener for casanova Saif Ali Khan.

Over all movie is quite slow and boring leading to the audience snoring. Look at my fellow co-seaters in interval at below picture…

Kill Dil- Movie Review

3 out of 5 stars (3 / 5)

Kill/Dil Movie is a colourful live presentation by Yash Raj Films. Not a single minute, other than some unwanted song sequences, which will slow down the pace. A humorous & brilliant performance by Ranveer Singh, looks like he is back with some acting as was in his first Yash Raj venture Baand Baaja Baraat. Ranveer Singh’s on screen effort dips the presence of Ali Zafar a little bit, however he too remarkable in the movie.

govinda-in-kill-dil-movie-mybollywoodreview.com

Brilliant & Outstanding performance by the all time great actor Govinda… You must watch this movie for him.. Back with his signature dance steps.. shaking shoulders with slow motion hand movements. Can see a fit, slim and all refreshed Govinda in this movie. In fact, he is seen in a negative role in this movie, you gonna love him and will be in your mind for at least next 10 days after the movie.

parineetichopra-mybollywoodreview.com

Parineeti Chopra looks stunning and gorgeous in the movie with a bold Delhi Girl Character as she almost play next.

The weak point is the climax…

Movie will end up so suddenly that you will get surprised like was expecting some thing big at the end and goes as usual happy ending bollywood drama.

“Well it is worth watching once even the story is very predictable… Watch it for a light humorous weekend and for Govinda and Ranveer Singh”

Shaukeen – Movie Review

0.5 out of 5 stars (0.5 / 5)

As the name depicts the Movie was a shock… Disgusting Story and Execution. A respectful suggestion to all senior brilliant actors like Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra and Anupam Kher… Please dont waste your talent by signing these kind of movies..

What to talk about Akshay Kumar… He should re-shuffle his creative team or analyst who suggest him these kind of movies. Its not necessary that a remake will be always a hit… But a remake is more challenging coz people have already a mindset and standard set in there imagination.

shaukeen_0_0_0_0_0

There’s nothing much to mention about the movie as it is totally a waste of time and money.

It is really sad and disheartening to mention Bangkok, Mauritius and other Asian Countries as “Ghasti Khana” (House of Prostitution). Movie rolls up around three desperate old guys looking for fulfillment of their fantasies and thus planned a trip to Bangkok… But they couldn’t make it as society turns against them as why they going to Bangkok? Finally they found a new Ghasti Khana and went to Mauritius…

And from no where Akshay as real Akshay Kumar comes into picture and movie goes on with boring masala and disgusting songs.
