Dharam Sankat Mai – Movie Review
(2 / 5)
As the name depicts, is based on “Dharam” or “Religion” which is created by humanity for unity but now a days leading to be a evil for unity. Hats off to Paresh Rawal for fantastic acting.
He is leading the movie by his own in this age is like amazing. You can see some real stuff of acting from senior actors like Annu Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah and the lead role Mr. Paresh Rawal.
Movie rolls around the Hindu-Muslim concept and giving an excellent message for society. Naseeruddin Shah is playing a role of saint(Baba) a mixture of all the prevailing Baba’s.
Somewhere in between , Director Fuwad Khan lost the movie’s hold from audience. After interval the presentation becomes little boring and stretched for some time. They failed to rebuilt the charisma of there previous film Oh My God starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar.
Overall it is a one time watch if you have some time to spare from your busy life.
NH-10 – Movie Review

An out of the track movie revealing the dirty evil hidden in rural northern Indian villages. Hippocratic towards love marriages and girl child leaded these states villages to a brutal condition where development and education is still a challenge.
Again Anushka Sharma proved that Women oriented and Woman leading movie can bring revolution in box office and Bollywood as any of the so called hero in our film industry. No doubt, we have to accept our industry is a male hero dominated department. I appreciate that Anushka Sharma (NH-10), Vidya Balan (Kahaani, Bobby Jasoos), Kangana Ranaut (Queen), Rekha (Super Naani) etc. are bringing a new phase to our industry and hope things will change for good.
Talking about movie, it is on an excellent platform as I already stated above with a powerful super bomb performance of Anushka Sharma. It is all about a Gurgaon based couple who goes for a road trip and witnesses honor killing of a couple. It leads to a bad turning point for them chasing the culprits behind them to kill them.
Neil Bhoopalam played the role of Anushka’s husband, who portrayed his effort in a nice way matching the talented Anushka. The couple lost there everything in that trip leading Anushka to show the power of womenhood and brought an end to the story erasing the butchers. Somewhere you can feel movie as very stretched one as the chase is very much irritating giving your heart some real good pumps.
Go and watch the movie to grab some good message and to appreciate the effort of Anushka Sharma.

Dum Laga Ke Haisha – Movie Review

A movie with a difference… prompting a true tag line “Love comes in all Sizes”. The excellent effort from Writer – Director Sharat Katariya takes you to the beautiful and ever romantic era of bollywood “90’s”. Movie is a kind of tribute to the all time bollywood king of romantic songs Mr. Kumar Sanu.
You will travel through the nostalgia of tape recorders, tape cassettes and the way we Indians use to record from one cassette to another in a so called recording studio of market in every next colony.
Aayushmann Khurana did an excellent job accompanying the talented chubby actress Bhumi Pednekar. Movie depicts a message that looks doesn’t matter in love, if some thing matters that is love and understanding. Locations in the movie are from Uttar Pradesh and Uttara Khand featuring Haridwar, Dehradun etc. Songs are directed by Anu malik and sung by Kumar Sanu will again take you back to 90’s and you gonna love it for sure. Title song Moh Moh ke Daage is a kind of melody you gonna melt with tunes.
“Overall go and watch some thing different from the league with excellent acting”
Badlapur – Movie Review

Completely different Avatar for our dashing hero “Varun Dhawan”. Hats off to him for accepting this kind of role in an early phase of his carrier pace and I guess he completely did justice to the responsibility he had taken.
From a chocolate boy to a mid-aged man. A great transformation with matured acting. Story is all about Revenge as the name depicts. Chasing the culprits responsible for the death of his beautiful wife (featuring Yami Gautam) and son.
A happy family comes to an end leaving only the man out of the nuclear home. Revenge begins from there and the man completely runs out of the way of his life and the ultimate aim targeted towards the assassination of the culprits. Which lead him to became mentally depressed and physically strong for the revenge. The journey of the revenge take you throughout the movie to discover the justice for him.
But Sorry Varun, somebody stealed the show from you and that is none other than the great Mr. Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He completely rocked the screen and he will be the only person you gonna remember whenever you hear the name “Badlapur”. It seems he doesn’t need to act, it is coming effortlessly from his heart. He is such a versatile actor who can mix up in any role in a way that you can’t even imagine an alternative for him. Not an Happy Ending like usual typical bollywood drama.
“Go and watch it if you are strong hearted and will not get depressed by kind of sad movies”
Ab Tak Chhappan 2 – Movie Review

The one word which gonna describe the movie is “Nana Patekar”. Its all about his acting and performance. Story line is not as good as expected. It disappointed the audience seeking the quality delivered by the part 1 Ab tak chappan.
Movie continues from the point where Part 1 ended with grown up son of encounter specialist Saadhu. It is a fight against our system which is sick, suffering with the epidemic “Corruption”. Shows how the honest and loyal officers are mere puppet of system. Nana patekar dialogue delivery and screen appearance will make your money worth for this movie.
Ashutosh Rana not been used well as per his ability but then also he is a junior cop to Saadhu but with a negative touch. Gul panag as a Crime Reporter nailed the character and it is surely a come back for her to the movies.
“Over all it is a one time watch if you like Mr. Nana Patekar”
Roy – Movie Review

A movie not meant for general mass, its a conceptual piece of art with exotic landscapes of beautiful Malayasia. It will be a slow torture for 90% of audience in your theater.
People will not have a clue about what is going on until and unless they have a prior idea that Jacklyn Fernadez play a double role in movie. Arjun Rampal is in main lead as a film maker and Ranbir Kapoor a virtual thief who actually didn’t exist. This is the irony that it takes a lot of time to understand Ranbir’s existence even after watching the full movie. Movie shows the sophisticasy and richness of characters along with unwanted song sequences which actually do not cope up with kind of story line it follows.
Anupam kher is not used properly and it is again a loss for the movie. No doubt Arjun Rampal and Jacklyn both are brilliant in movie and totally paid justice to the characters they played. Ranbir also shown his matured side of acting.
Movie lacks pace and spice as required for a regular bollywood movie. Hence, it would be disaster at box office. Stretched and slient sequences really annoyed the audience at movie hall and leads to people leaving the show in the middle. For some people it become a pain to sit and watch the movie till the end and started abusing the characters and director because they do not get even the slightest idea about the story of Roy.
Overall a disaster from director Vikramjit Singh
Shamitabh – Movie Review

“Man of the Millennium” Amitabh Bachchan, It is all about him if we talk about the movie Shamitabh. No doubt Dhanush is a fantastic actor but when Mr. Bachchan is on screen all others are like, stars in presence of the Sun. No words to define the performance of Mr. Bachchan as it is like some energetic waves are passing, while listening to his dialogues. Movie is all based on the voice of Amitabh Bachan, Dhanush a village boy with average looks wants to be a Superstar but the irony is that he is dumb by birth.
Story is little unrealistic somewhere like so easily an Assistant Director (Akshara Haasan) in Mumbai helped a stranger boy to became an actor. The technology used to generate voice for Dhanush by implanting microchip inside him. “Where the power comes from for that chip lolz :p” Anyway story is story…
Director R. Balki did something different and sounds good. It’s a must watch for seeing Sir Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush on screen with a new concept and almost different from regular Bollywood movies. Akshara Haasan lacks expressions and dialogue delivery is not good in most of the parts of the movie. First half will entertain you the most and after the interval it seems the movie is bit stretched and seems boring in between some times.
It’s a must watch for seeing Mr. Bachchan on screen and Singing a song Pidley…
Rang Rasiya – Movie Review

Rang Rasiya, The journey of an artist is actually a mock on society. Raja Ravi Varma, a famous Indian painter, very well played by Randeep Hooda, fights for his sustenance in society. His imagination doesn’t know any bound, however the so – called workers of society wants to chain his thoughts. He paints the mirror of our true rich tradition, which later is scorn by social workers.
Nandana Sen looks stunningly beautiful in her role of inspirational muse for the painter. The pace of the story is little slow and the environment feels gloomy. However the essence of tradition attracts the audience. Brilliant acting by Randeep Hooda and great cinematography.
The movie carries a social message and aspire to bring in a change in mindset of people. It want people to let others do whatever they want to. We are no one to stop the thinking or lifestyle of any person. There is a very small chunk of people who would like the movie. I believe we need to have that literary sense to like it.
Though I liked it , it’s a kind of an old folk tale which might have a lot of literary connotations.
