Great Grand Masti – Movie Review

1.5 out of 5 stars (1.5 / 5)

When the first Masti released in 2004, it created a sensation with new level comedy mixed with emotional drama, story and awesome level of acting from the trio. The level of the comedy and story decreased by the next released Grand Masti in 2013 and now Great Grand Masti is a complete wastage of time, money and talent of Ritesh Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani. No doubt they are fantastic actors but when the plot and story is not keeping the pace, the actors can’t help it.

As shown in trailer, movie is based on vulgar comedy like putting a Viagra capsule into a glass of milk increases the size of glass. Story revolves around a ghost of a young virgin girl living in an old Bungalow. As per story she died without living her desires and fantasy, hence the ghost is waiting there to get a male person to full fill here desires. To include the flavour of melodrama, Director Indra Kumar tried to add some family values of love and respect between the couples but ended up with poor acting and baseless emotions.

53173034Urvashi Rautela is the ghost in the movie flaunting her dresses in every essence, like the ghost is having a complete designer wardrobe at her home. The three sex starved husbands, this time completely failed in the task of entertaining the audience.

Overall, it is not even a one time watch.

Housefull 3 – Movie Review

4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5)

Directors Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji made it great as compared to the last sequels of Housefull. Movie is very light and quite good comedy if you really want to get relaxed from your daily hectic routine. As it was shown in trailer, Movie is all about three men convincing a father that they are fit for marrying his daughters. Akshay kumar, as always maintaining the legacy of comedy, he started from Hera Pheri and in this movie he has split personality disorder of one naughty side and another good side. Ritesh Deshmukh has again done full justice to his role of acting as blind in front of father of girls.

Abhishek Bachchan is back with a bang and this time you can see a matured comedy from the actor with really funny scenes like saving Aishwarya’s wax statue from falling down and tolerating tortures to proof himself dumb in front of the father of girls. Booman Irani is there as father of three girls Jacqulin Fernadez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon. As always he outraged the character of a high class Gujarati, who lives in London.

All three pretty girls are looking beautiful and awesome throughout the movie. You can see Jacky Shroff with a twist in the movie in a dashing role of Don threatening our chocolaty heroes. Chunky Pandey is back again in this movie with his famous dialogue “I am a Joookkiiinngg”.

Overall, it is a lightweight movie with excellent comedy.

Bangistan – Movie Review

1.5 out of 5 stars (1.5 / 5)

A light comedy Movie along with a message from Director Karan Anshuman, but failed to impress audience completely. The dashing Pulkit Samrat and versatile Ritesh Deshmukh did there job with full justice but the script or the story lacked the soul and thus fail to present the actual thoughts of director. The intensity required in the movie was not there for the kind of message they want to spread even after bunch of great list of actors they bundled up with.

You can expect some good kind of punches and things they have placed in the imaginary place which they have named as Bangistan. For instance, McDonalds becomes FcDonalds, having a guy sitting with gun and painted face in the place of McDonalds’ Ronald. The kind of environment they have created for a call centre at Bangistan. Even after so much creativity it does not have that much effect and grasp over the audience. They have wasted the talent of Jacklyn Fernadez in the movie just for a song and a 5% appearance as a Bar Tender.

Movie is all about Terrorism and creating Terrorist in the name of religion. A humorous way to represent the message that please come over above the religion and join hands together for the utmost religion and that is Humanity. A Muslim explains Hindu about the message in Bhagwad Gita and the Hindu explain back the message conveyed in Quran.

Overall the movie is bit boring due to the emotionless screenplay… you can watch it for a light humour with some serious message.
