Force 2 – Movie Review

3 out of 5 stars (3 / 5)

The ACP Yashvardhan is back again with Force 2, on the lines of 2011 release Force (Directed by Nishikant Kamat) but this time directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by John Abraham and Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The movie is packed with brilliant action sequences with an average story line but the pace and thrill was maintained in the whole movie which actually made it a good entertainer.

Movie is all about a cop from Mumbai Police department joined up with RAW agent KK to trapping down a master mind terrorist. In this mission, they are travelling around the Europe tackling various challenges. There is chase scene between ACP Yashvardhan (John Abraham) and terrorist (Tahir Bhasin), this kind of situation is repeated two times in the movie which was little lagging as per me. Some action scenes were awesome with various camera techniques, like playing a video game. In the last movie, you watched John lifting motorcycle with his bare hands and now he is lifting a car in this movie.

As always, he is beefed up with awesome muscles with eight pack abs and looking massive all over the movie. The role of KK is played by Sonakshi Sinha who is actually re-writing the persona of actresses in Indian cinema doing action movies like Aakira and now Force 2. Both John and Sonakshi did a fantastic Job in the movie and it was fun and thrill watching them throughout the two hours seven minutes. You can see Adil Hussain in the movie as a minister and a cameo role by Boman Irani and Genelia D’Souza flashing back the old Force movie memories.

Overall it is a onetime watch for some thriller actions!

Rocky Handsome – Movie Review

2.5 out of 5 stars (2.5 / 5)

A movie with insane fight moves as per Bollywood standards along with a massive “Hulk figure” John Abraham. The initial fifteen minutes of movie is slow and lagging and the screenplay is dark. It may bore you and disappoint you till almost first half. Movie will pace up very nicely after the interval and the real thriller series begins after interval.

Director Nishikant Kamat lacked somewhere in the first half, he himself is acting as the villain in the movie in a bald look. All the actors like John, Nishikant, Sharad Kelkar  gave their best as was required for the role but I guess somewhere the screenplay and direction went wrong in the overall presentation. The plot was good, casting was accurate. The story lagged while showing the flash back, the effort to connect the present to past became little boring and almost predictable.

The seven-year-old kid Diya Chalwat, I can say she had the best performance in the movie with so much real emotions and expressions. Talking about the story it is all about a vengeful man chasing for the culprit madly for his 7-year-old baby friend who had Diya-Chalwadbeen kidnapped for some reason. Movie roles around the past of John and the journey of rescuing the girl from kidnappers. John Abraham was really looking huge with awesome and outstanding physique and fighting scenes. Shruti Hassan is there in a cameo role as John’s wife with not at all needed song in the first half.

Overall, watch it for John Abraham, awesome fighting scenes and the brilliant Diya Chalwat…
